Seven Year olds should have a minimum of one year dance experience and eight year olds should have a minimum of one session of experience. All Level I Dancers must dance a Minimum of two days a week. These Lelveled Classes are for dancers ready to take their dancing to the next Level. Regular attendence is a must, as each class will build on the one before. Not sure if your dancer is ready? Our Theater III Program is for actors ages 10+ with experience actining, singining, & Dancing. Students Under 13 should have plenty of experience Being in Musical Theater Productions and/Or must be enrolled in Level II+ Dance Classes with us. Two different voice classes will be offered for Theater III, One For Ages 10 - 14 just before rehearsals on Wednesdays 5:00 - 5:55, And One for ages 15+ on Thursdays 8:00 - 8:45.

We are so excited to announce our Spring musical theater plans! This season's productions will be The Little Princess and Lion King Kids ! Our older experienced students will be working on The Little Princess and our Younger students will be working on Lion King Kids! Please see below for details about each group's regularly scheduled rehearsal time.
Musical Theater Auditions and Rehearsals will begin the Week of January 15thst. This will be for The Little Princess and Lion King Kids the Friday Section for Experienced Acots. both productions will be Mid April. Exact Dates Coming Soon.
Small Group Voice Classes are available for Musical Theater students ages 9+. Those hoping to get a lead role should also enroll in Voice class, BAsic vocal Technique will also be covered in Musical Theater rehearsals for younger kids and also for students unable to take voice class this session. Please see Below for details about our Voice Class schedule.
Theater I, "Little Theater"
Saturday 12:00 - 12:40 & 12:45 - 1:30, Dumaine Studio
Our "LIttle theater" group is for students ages 6-10 years. Beginners are absolutely welcome! This class will learn the basics of Musical Theater and Perorm in The LIon King Kids mid April. Six Year Olds must also be enrolled in dance class.
Theater II
Friday 5:30-6:25, Dumaine Studio
This Spring, our theater II group is for students ages 7 - 12. Students 7 - 9 years must already have Theater experience or should also be enrolled in dance with us. If not, please join us Saturdays for Little Theater to get that experience. Basic Reading Skills are recommended for this level. Voice Class is Offered for students ages 9+ who already have Theater/singing Experience on Fridays, just After Rehearsal 6:30 - 7:15. Add voice for just $200.
Friday 6:30 - 7:15, Dumaine Voice Studio
Voice Class for Ages 9+. Those hoping for a lead role or singing solo in The Little Mermaid should also enroll in this Class.

Musical Theater Student Need to knows:
- Some students will be responsible for printing their own scripts. This script must be put into a binder or Folder.
- Students will provide their own costumes with the guidance of their directors.
- Regular attendence and practice at home will be essential for actors to feel confident and prepared at rehearsals and on stage.
- all theater students will be called to extra rehearsals.
- Participation in Musical Theater Productions requires commitment and work at home. All actors must learn at home when in a musical theater cast. For our youngest actors this would be just 10 - 15 minutes a week listneing to music for our older actors auditioning for a lead role this could look like an hour a week working on music and memorization of music. At all ages this tends to be child led or done indepndently. The kids love getting prepared and working hard when they are involved in a cast with a common goal!
