5:00-5:45 Ballet & Tap, 3-5 YRS, Dumaine Studio 

Beginners welcome! Students must be able to change their own shoes and use the restroom independently.. Add The Saturday Acrobatics & Jazz class for just an additional $150! We recommend that all students take class twice a week so that they can safely, confidently, and steadily progress while creating strong peer relationships.​

Wednesday

5:00 - 5:55 Ballet & Tap 5-9 yrs, Dumaine Studio 

(Five year Olds should already have one year of experience. If not, join us Monday for the 3 - 5 Year Class or Saturday for the 4 - 8 year old class. Those in this class are encouraged to take a second class - Acro & Jazz on Saturdays or Musical Theater I on Wednesdays. Come for dance, Stay for Theater!

6:00 - 7:25 Theater I, Willy Wonka Jr, 6+ Yrs. Dumaine 

Six - Seven Year Olds should also Be Enrolled in at least one dance class. All students who participate will have an important role. Join Us for Voice Class Just Before at 5:15 or Thursdays at 6:15 on Oak. More Information Here.

We are so excited to announce our Fall musical theater plans! This season's productions will be Willy Wonka Jr and A Bob Fosse Review!

​

Our Level III & Iv Dance Students are invited to join us for a Bob Fosse Review. And our Theater Students ages 6 - 13 who are Invited to Join us for Willy Wonka Jr!

 

Musical Theater Auditions will be held September, 2nd.​

​

Small Group Voice Classes are available for Musical Theater students ages 8+. Those hoping to get a lead role should also enroll in Voice class, If your young Actor is enrolled in private voice lessons, please let us know. Basic vocal Technique will also be covered in Musical Theater rehearsals for younger kids and also for students unable to take voice class this session.

Beginner Musical Theater Acro & jazz Dance

Saturday 11:0 - 11:55, 6-9 yrs

This is a great class for Theater students looking to brush up their basic theater dance skills! There is always dancing in a musical theater production. Come get prepared!​

Musical Theater Student Need to knows:

- Students will provide their own costumes with the guidance of their directors. 

- Regular attendance and practice at home will be essential for actors to feel confident and prepared at rehearsals and on stage. 

- There will be several Saturday/Sunday rehearsals added to the rehearsal schedule. We ask that rehearsal is a priority but also understand that you may not be able to attend all weekend rehearsals.

Level I

Ages 7+ More Info 

Seven Year olds should have a minimum of one year dance experience and eight year olds should have a minimum of one session of experience In our Recreational Classes. All Level I Dancers must dance a Minimum of two days a week. These Lelveled Classes are for dancers ready to take their dancing to the next Level. Regular attendance is a must, as each class will build on the one before. Not sure if your dancer is ready? Email us we are happy to help! Please note that dancer usually stay in the same Level for a minimum of two years. The first year, dancer learn many new skills and technical elements. The second year, dancers work to perfect these skills and elements.

Acrobats in this class must be Leveled Dancers and should already have a strong Cartwheel and be able to go into a backbend independently. Don't have those skills yet? Join us Saturdays at 11am and we'll help you achieve those skills!

Session dates

- Most Classes begin September 14th

- We will ease our Level III. & IV Dancers into their fall classes beginning September 7th. More Information will be provided as that date nears.

- Musical Theater classes Begin the week of September 7th with auditions. More info will be sent once registered.

- fall Break

October 26th-November 1st. No Break for Musical Theater.

​

-Thanksgiving Break will be November 23rd - 29th.

​

- Dance Classes will end with The New Orleans Nutcracker December 13th - 15th.

Level II

Ages 9+ - More Info

Level II Dancers must dance a minimum of Two days a week, Three Days is preferred. And all level II dancers Must be enrolled in Ballet & Technique. Two Ballet Classes a week Preferred. Not sure about your level or which classes to select? Email us we'd be happy to help! Please Note that Students are meant to stay in each Level a minimum of Two - Three Years. A strong Foundation is so important for safely and confidently progressing. The More classes a dancer takes each week the quicker and more confidently they'll progress!

Monday

5:00 - 5:45 Pre Pointe & Pointe 9+ Years Oak Studio

All Students Must be enrolled in Ballet II or Beginner Pointe.. This class will be focused on the Strength, Mobility, and Flexibility necessary to safely progress in Ballet. All Students will wear Ballet Slippers not Pointe shoes for This Class.

5:45 - 7:00 Acro II/III/IV Oak Studio

Students enrolling in This class should already have A strong cartwheel on Both Sides. Be Able to go into a Back bend and Kick over independently. Not Ready? Come to Acro I/II On Thursdays at 6:30 and get those skills! Skill Exceptions made for Dancers 12+ Years.

Tuesday

5:00 - 6:15 Ballet & II Oak Studio

Dancers Must also be enrolled in A Technique class and a second Ballet class is preferred, either Prepointe or Beginner Pointe. 

6:15 - 7:30 Technique & Jazz Oak Studio

Dancers Must Also be enrolled in Ballet I+, II, or III and A Jazz & Technique Class.

This class Will have Pre-Requisite Skills. If Your Dancer is Not Ready for This class, Join us for Contemporary Ballet Saturdays at 2:00 just After Level II Tap. 

6:00 - 6:45 Wonka Voice, Ages 8+ on Oak

6:30-7:40 Intermediate Acro I/II Dumaine Studio 

Acrobats in this class must be Leveled Dancers and should already have a Cartwheel. and be able to go into a backbend independently

2:45 - 3:45 Hip Hop & Commerical Jazz II/III Dumaine 

Students Must also be enrolled in Ballet & Jazz. Come Learn a new hip hop combo every week! This Style of Dance challenges dancers to Think Fast and Learn Choreography even Faster!

3:00 - 4:25 Beginner Pointe Oak Studio

Students must have taken the August Beginner Pointe Workshop. All Students must Have sewn pointe shoes at every Class. Attendance is crucial for progression. A Student with excessive absences may have to finish the session in Ballet Slippers rather than Pointe shoes. 

4:30 - 5:25 Modern II/III Ages 9+ Oak Studio

Must also be enrolled in at least Ballet class and Technique & Jazz Class 

5:30 - 6:10 Ballet III/IV Ballet Variations Oak Studio

Must be enrolled in an additional Ballet Class, Ages 12+

Age 12+ - All Level III & IV Dancers Must Dance a Minimum of Three Days a week and must be enrolled in Ballet & Technique. Level III Dancers are those that took Pointe Last year along with Monday Technique. We'll let you know if your Dancers is being promoted to Level III or IV

6:00-8:00 Fosee Review, Dumaine Studio

Come take a deep dive into the Choreographic genius Bob Fosse's original works and Variations. This will be an Advanced Theater & Dance Option for the Fall. We encourage all Level III/IV Dancers to join us for this Theater experience. Those who love theater will be eligible to sing solos and take on Character Roles. Dancers not so into theater can join the ensemble!

2:45-3:45 Hip Hop & Commercial Jazz II/III, Dumaine Studio

Students must also be enrolled in Ballet and a Technique class.

3:00 - 4:25 Beginner Pointe Oak

This studio is our home studio that we've been in over ten years. This studio is located at 4300 Duamine at the corner of N Hennessey and Dumaine, just across from City Park.

We are pleased to announce that our fall 2026 dance students are invited and encouraged to participate in our Original Production -  The New Orleans Nutcracker!

​

There is no participation fee to dance in the New Orleans Nutcracker. Students will need to purchase costumes. Price is always considered when we are selecting costumes, prices range from $35 - $60 and our older dancers always reuse costumes or wear one costume for multiple dances whenever possible! All guests will also need to purchase tickets.
