4:30-5:10 Ballet & Tap, 3-5 YRS, Dumaine Studio
Beginners welcome! Students must be able to change their own shoes and use the restroom independently. This class ends November 13th. This Class is Just $350, Not $400 because of Its earlier end date. Add The Thursday Acro & Jazz class for just an additional $150! We recommend that all students take class twice a week so that they can safely, confidently, and steadily progress while creating strong peer relationships.​

5:00 - 5:55 Ballet & Tap 5-9 yrs, Dumaine Studio
(Five year Olds should already have one year of experience. If not, join us Monday or Saturday for the 3 - 5 year old class. Those in this class are encouraged to take a second class - Acro & Jazz, or Musical Theater!)
6:00 - 7:25 Theater II, Alice In wonderland, 8+ Yrs. Dumaine
(8 - 9 Year Olds should already have Musical theater experience. Beginners 10+ Welcome) We will need actors of all ages to make this show Happen! Musical Theater Schedule
We are so excited to announce our Fall musical theater plans! This season's production will be Alice In wonderland Jr.
Musical Theater Auditions for our Theater II Group will be held September, 3rd.​
​
Small Group Voice Classes are available for Musical Theater students ages 8+. Those hoping to get a lead role should also enroll in Voice class, Basic vocal Technique will also be covered in Musical Theater rehearsals for younger kids and also for students unable to take voice class this session. Please see Below for details about our Voice Class schedule.

Little Theater
Saturday 12:00 - 1:15, Dumaine Studio
Our "Little theater" or Theater I group is for students ages 6-10 years. Beginners are absolutely welcome! This class will learn the basics of Musical Theater by participating as the ensemble in the Production, Alice In wonderland Jr. (Six Year Olds must also be registered for Ballet & Tap or Acro & Jazz)

Theater II
Wednesday 6:00-7:25, Dumaine Studio *
our theater II group is for students ages 8 - 18. This Session's Show is Alice In wonderland! Students 8 - 9 years must already have Theater experience And should also be enrolled in dance with us. If not, please join us Saturdays for Little Theater to get that experience. Voice Class is Offered for students ages 8+ who already have Theater/singing Experience on Monday on Oak at 6:30 and Fridays on Dumaine at 6:00. If needed we may add a third Voice Class on Wednesdays at 5pm.​​​​​​
Beginner Musical Theater Acro & jazz Dance
Thursday 4:30 - 5:10, 6-9 yrs
This is a great class for Theater students looking to brush up their basic theater dance skills! There is always dancing in a musical theater production. Come get prepared!

Musical Theater Student Need to knows:
- Students will provide their own costumes with the guidance of their directors.
- Regular attendance and practice at home will be essential for actors to feel confident and prepared at rehearsals and on stage.
- There will be several Saturday/Sunday rehearsals added to the rehearsal schedule. We ask that rehearsal is a priority but also understand that you may not be able to attend all weekend rehearsals.
Level I
Ages 7+ - More Info
Seven Year olds should have a minimum of one year dance experience and eight year olds should have a minimum of one session of experience In our Recreational Classes. All Level I Dancers must dance a Minimum of two days a week. These Lelveled Classes are for dancers ready to take their dancing to the next Level. Regular attendance is a must, as each class will build on the one before. Not sure if your dancer is ready? Email us we are happy to help!

Level I Dancers taking their first acro or jazz class should register for this class. This class will give you the foundation you need to move up the Level I Jazz Class and Intermediate Acro Class.
5:15 - 6:25 Jazz I/II/III Dumaine Studio
Jazz Class for Ages 7+. All enrolled Dancers must also be enrolled in Level I/II or III Ballet class. Level I Dancers without Jazz Experience should attend the 4:30 Acro & Jazz Class.
6:30-7:30 Intermediate Acro Dumaine Studio
Acrobats in this class must be Leveled Dancers and should already have a strong Cartwheel and be able to go into a backbend independently. Don't have those skills yet? Join us Thursdays at 4:30 and we'll help you achieve those skills!

1:30 - 2:10 Lyrical I+/II/III 8+ Yrs Dumaine Studio
Students Must also be enrolled in Ballet I, II, or III. Come for Lyrical stay for Hip Hop. Lyrical class improves Ballet technique and helps dancers to be more expressive.
2:15-3:00 HipHop & Commercial Jazz I+/II/III 8+ Yrs Dumaine Students Must also be enrolled in Ballet & A Technique and Jazz class. This class requires dancers to think quickly and learn choreography even more quickly!

4:00 - 5:25 Pre Pointe Oak Studio
Students must be at least a Level I+ Dancer, Having one Year of Level I experience. All Level II Dancers are encouraged to attend this class.

- Most Classes begin September 8th

- We will ease our Level III. & IV Dancers into their fall classes beginning August 25th. More Information will be provided as that date nears.

- Musical Theater classes Begin the week of September 2nd with auditions. More info will be sent once registered.

October 26th-November 1st. No Break for Musical Theater.
- All Classes for ages 3+ and 4+ will End on Novemeber 22nd. These classes are discounted $50.

-Thanksgiving Break will be November 24th - 30th.

- All Dance Classes for Ages 5+will end with The New Orleans Nutcracker December 13th - 15th. All students in Dance classes for ages 5+ are invited to participate!

- Musical Theater & Voice Classes Will End with our productions November 15th - 17th.
Level II
Ages 9+ - More Info

5:00 - 6:25 Technique & Jazz II/III 9+ Years Oak Studio
All Students Must be enrolled in Ballet II or III. This class will include Technical Skills for all styles of dance, such as turns, Leaps, and Dance Tricks as Well as a New Jazz Combo each week. There is another Jazz & Technique class offered on Thursdays, just before Acro. Love Jazz? Take Both. Or just do the day that best fits your schedule. To be eligible for this class, Students should already have one year of experience in Technique class.

This Jazz Class is for Ages 7+. All enrolled Dancers must also be enrolled in Level I,II, or III Ballet class. Level I Dancers without Jazz Experience should attend the 4:30 Acro & Jazz Class. Love Jazz? Take both the Monday Jazz and This class!
6:30-7:40 Intermediate Acro Dumaine Studio
Acrobats in this class must be Leveled Dancers and should already have a strong Cartwheel and be able to go into a backbend From Standing independently.

6:00-8:00 Beginner Pointe & Ballet III Dumaine Studio
If your Dancer is eligible for this class, we will let you know and they must attend our Beginner Pointe Series that will take place before the Fall session Begins. Students Must take Ballet Twice Weekly. Either Tuesday and Friday or Friday and Sunday. All three would be even better for safe confident progression into pointe work. Beginner Pointe Students will be dismissed at 7:25 and Ballet III Students will stay until 8:00.

1:30 - 2:10 Lyrical I+/II/III Dumaine Studio
Students Must also be enrolled in Ballet & Jazz. Come learn a new lyrical combo every week! Practicing Lyrical helps create more expressive dancers.
2:15 - 3:00 Hip Hop & Commerical Jazz I+/II/III Dumaine
Students Must also be enrolled in Ballet & Jazz. Come Learn a new hip hop combo every week! This Style of Dance challenges dancers to Think Fast and Learn Choreography even Faster!

Dumaine Studio
This studio is our home studio that we've been in over ten years. This studio is located at 4300 Duamine at the corner of N Hennessey and Dumaine, just across from City Park.

this is our new professional sized studio located in the riverbend just off Carrollton and oak street at 1122 dublin.

The New Orleans Nutcracker
2025

We are pleased to announce that this year all of our fall 2025 dance students in classes for ages 5+ will be invited and encouraged to participate in our Original Production - The New Orleans Nutcracker!
​
There is no participation fee to dance in the New Orleans Nutcracker. Students will need to purchase costumes. Price is always considered when we are selecting costumes, prices range from $35 - $60 and our older dancers always reuse costumes or wear one costume for multiple dances whenever possible! All guests will also need to purchase tickets.
