Ages 7+ - More Info
Seven Year olds should have a minimum of one year dance experience and eight year olds should have a minimum of one session of experience. All Level I Dancers must dance a Minimum of two days a week. These Lelveled Classes are for dancers ready to take their dancing to the next Level. Regular attendence is a must, as each class will build on the one before. Not sure if your dancer is ready? - All Classes for ages 3+ And End on Novemeber 18th. These classes are discounted $50.

- All Dance and Levled Acro Classes (Acro I/II & Acro II/III) for Ages 5+will end with The New Orleans Nutcracker in December. All students in classes for ages 5+ are invited to participate!

This studio is our home studio that we've been in over ten years. This studio is located at 4300 Duamine at the corner of N Hennessey and Dumaine, just across from City Park.

We are so excited to announce our Fall musical theater plans! This season's productions will be Lion Kind and Little Mermaid! Our older experienced students will be working on Lion King and our Younger students will be working on Little Mermaid! Please see below for details about each group's regular rehearsal time.
Musical Theater Auditions and Rehearsals will begin the Week of August 21st, and both productions will be the week of November 17th - 19th.

Small Group Voice Classes are available for Musical Theater students ages 9+. Those hoping to get a lead role should also enroll in Voice class, BAsic vocal Technique will also be covered in Musical Theater rehearsals for younger kids and also for students unable to take voice class this session. Please see Below for details about our Voice Class schedule.
Little Theater
Saturday 12:45 - 1:30, Dumaine Studio *3 Spots
Our "LIttle theater" group is for students ages 6-10 years. Beginners are absolutely welcome! This class will learn the basics of Musical Theater and Perorm in The Little Mermaid November 17th - 19th. Five Year Olds must also be enrolled in dance class. * The 12pm Section is Full

Theater II
Friday 5:30-6:25, Dumaine Studio *Waitlist
This Fall, our theater II group is for students ages 7 - 10. Students 7 - 8 years must already have Theater experience or should also be enrolled in dance with us. If not, please join us Saturdays for Little Theater to get that experience. Basic Reading Skills are recommended for this level. Voice Class is Offered for students ages 9+ who already have Theater/singing Experience on Fridays, just After Rehearsal 6:30 - 7:15. Add voice for just $200.

Our Theater III Program is for actors ages 11+ with experience actining, singining, & Dancing. Students Under 13 should have plenty of experience Being in Musical Theater Productions and/Or must be enrolled in Level II+ Dance Classes with us. Two different voice classes will be offered for Theater III, One For Ages 11 - 14 just before rehearsals on Wednesdays 5:00 - 5:55, And One for ages 14+ on Thursdays 8:15 - 9:00.

This is a great class for Theater students looking to brush up their basic theater dance skills! There is always dancing in a musical theater production. Come get prepared!

Musical Theater Student Need to knows:
- All students will be responsible for printing their own scripts. This script must be put into a binder.
- Students will provide their own costumes with the guidance of their directors.
- Regular attendence and practice at home will be essential for actors to feel confident and prepared at rehearsals and on stage.
The New Orleans Nutcracker

We are pleased to announce that this year all of our fall 2023 dance students in classes for ages 5+ will be invited and encouraged to participate in our Original Production - The New Orleans Nutcracker!
​
There is no participation fee to dance in the New Orleans Nutcracker. Students will need to purchase costumes. Price is always considered when we are selecting costumes, prices range from $35 - $60 and our older dancers always reuse costumes or wear one costume for multiple dances whenever possible! All guests will also need to purchase tickets.
